Former Yellowjacket on the move in Swiss basketball league

Vid Milenkovic has signed with Lions de Geneve.

Former Wisconsin-Superior men's basketball standout Vid Milenkovic has signed with the Lions de Geneve of the Swiss Basketball League, the club announced this week .

Milenkovic played in 82 games for the Yellowjackets from 2014-2020, scoring 1,038 career points and being named a first-team All-UMAC selection as a senior in 2019-20.

Milenkovic is a native of Zurich, Switzerland, who played high school basketball in Serbia. He spent last season in Basel, Switzerland, with the SBL's Starwings, averaging 8.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.4 steals and 1.1 assists in 32 games as a rookie.

The Lions, like the Starwings, compete in the SBL's top division. The Lions have nine different titles since 2000.
