The Northwood girls basketball team will cross the state border to play Pine City, Minn. Tuesday. The game was added to the Evergreen schedule after Solon Springs canceled its match with Northwood this season.
Tuesday's varsity game begins at 6 p.m. at Pine City High School, and the junior varsity game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the elementary school.
Pine City is a class AA school in Minnesota, with a 9-12 enrollment of about 450. The Pine City Dragons hold 16-5 overall record this season while the Evergreens are 15-0.
"They're a pretty good team, so we should have a good test," said Jason Schultz, Northwood head coach.
