Duluth East swept team titles at the Superior High School Spartan cross country invitational Thursday evening at the Nemadji Golf Course.
East won both varsity races as well as the junior varsity and middle school events.
The host Spartans finished second in the girls team event and eighth among the boys.

The Northwestern Tiger girls were fourth and the boys seventh.
Northwestern’s top finishers were Timmy Heikkila, who fifth among the boys, and Emma Nelson, ninth for the girls.
The Spartans were led by Rachel Dixon, who finished 17th and Jacob Kennedy, 26th among the boys.
The Spartans and Tigers will run at the Rice Lake Invitational at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
