College women's soccer: Yellowjackets blank Lumberjills

UW-Superior defeats Northland on Tuesday, March 30.

After a scoreless first half, the University of Wisconsin-Superior women’s soccer team scored two goals to defeat Northland 2-0 on Tuesday, March 30, at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex.

Emma Street scored the first goal, unassisted, for the Yellowjackets at 55:51 and Claire Smith scored the second goal, with the assist from Annah Schussman, at 60:40.

UW-Superior goalkeeper Morgan Philliber stopped two shots to earn a shutout.

The Yellowjackets host Martin Luther on Saturday, April 3, at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex at 1 p.m.
