Five Superior High School athletes signed national letters of intent to compete at the college level Wednesday, Nov. 11, as part of the early signing period.

Softball player Chesie McLaughlin will compete at Minot State of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, while Molly Lenmark and Kaelyn DeRoche will swim at NSIC schools, with Lenmark at Minnesota State-Moorhead and DeRoche at Southwest Minnesota State.

Arika Trentor will play hockey at Indiana Tech, while Lucy Drougas will play hockey at St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont.

With Superior using a virtual education model due to COVID-19, the Spartans were unable to hold a traditional in-person signing day.
