PHOENIX (AP) -- Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Zack Greinke is likely to begin the season on the disabled list because of a fractured right rib.

Greinke injured himself while playing basketball in the offseason. Initial X-rays were negative, but an MRI exam Monday revealed a hairline fracture in one rib and a bruise in a second.

Greinke is a former AL Cy Young winner. The Brewers acquired him in an offseason trade with Kansas City.

Dodgers 7, Brewers 1

PHOENIX (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers and Dodgers cleared the benches after pitcher Roman Colon punctuated a strikeout with a fist pump, and Los Angeles went on to win 7-1 Tuesday.

There were no punches and no ejections.

Colon celebrating after striking out Milwaukee's Casey McGehee with the bases loaded to end the sixth inning. McGehee yelled at Colon and Brewers first baseman Prince Fielder came out of the dugout in his teammate's defense.

Both benches and bullpens, including several Dodgers starters waiting just outside the left-field bullpen, emptied onto the grass between home plate and the mound.

McGehee and Colon both left the game after the scrum. They spoke more calmly on their way to the clubhouses down the right-field line.

Matt Kemp homered for the Dodgers.
