Each year the club conducts a year-end points race to determine the top gun of the year. Shooters belonging to the Black River Bandits can accumulate points based on CFDA guidelines when they attend and do well in each month’s designated Top Gun Shoot. At year’s end, the top four men and top two women will be awarded engraved belt buckles.

The 2019 Top Gun winners were ThumbZee McMuffin (Don Dudsic, Superior) and Lightnin (Debbie Stadin, Holyoke).

The Black River Bandits’ practices and monthly top gun contests at the 4H Building at the fairgrounds in Superior have been postponed until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
