Evan Moreau hit four 3-pointers and had 16 points as Northwestern, despite having five players out, held off Spooner 63-49 in a Heart O’ North Conference high school boys basketball game Tuesday, Jan. 26, in Spooner, Wisconsin.

Harrison Nelson added 14 points and another four 3-pointers as the Tigers connected on 11 shots from beyond the arc.

Cameron Driver (11 points) and C.J. Thompson (10) also reached double figures in scoring for Northwestern (11-6 overall, 9-2 HON), which led 30-22 at the half and gradually extended its lead.

Garrett Swan had 12 points and Bridger Klein had 11 to lead the Rails (3-5, 3-4), but complete stats weren’t available.
