Cole Lahti scored 16 points to lead a balanced effort as Northwestern downed Barron 80-65 in a Heart O’ North Conference boys basketball game Tuesday, Jan. 12, in Barron, Wisconsin.

Jase Nelson and C.J. Thompson added 14 points apiece and Evan Moreau had 10 as four players reached double figures in scoring for the Tigers (9-3), who bounced back from a tough 80-79 overtime loss at Superior Monday, Jan. 11.

Barron was also really balanced, with Braden Wirth and Carter LaLiberty leading five players in double figures with 13 points apiece, but the Golden Bears (4-5) couldn’t keep pace after trailing only 40-36 at the break.
