Mitchell Olson and Jake Schelonka came up big, including a combined eight RBIs for Schelonka, as St. Scholastica earned a 13-9 and 11-0 sweep of Wisconsin-Superior in a UMAC baseball doubleheader Wednesday at Wade Stadium.

Olson had four hits, two runs and two RBIs and Schelonka had three hits, including two doubles, a run and six RBIs as the Saints scored in six of their eight innings at the plate.

Brandon Rolf, Bryce Flanagan and Nick Zezulka had three hits apiece to lead UWS, including a home run for Rolf. Despite the 22 runs, it could have been worse as the teams left 26 men on base, 15 for UWS and 11 for CSS.

Jack Perala pitched St. Scholastica to the shutout in the eight-inning rematch, allowing only two hits in seven innings, with a career-high nine strikeouts to four walks.

Olson had three hits, two runs and four RBIs, including a three-run home run to lead CSS (11-5 overall, 7-3 UMAC) in the rematch. Schelonka added another double, run and two RBIs Matt Tautges had three hits, a run, two walks and two RBIs for the Saints. Olson finished 7-for-10 on the day with six RBIs.

Nick Shea and Ben Rhodes had the lone hits for the Yellowjackets (11-17, 4-6).
