Solon Springs junior Morgan Anderson scored her 1,000th point during Thursday’s night’s game with Hurley, but it wasn’t enough as the visiting Midgets defeated the Eagles 70-38.
Anderson’s 19 points came on three 3-pointers and making 10-of-11 free throws. Kallie Rajala was next with 12 points.
Aiyana Nickel led Hurley (9-8, 8-6) with 26 points.
The Eagles (8-13, 6-10) then wrapped up their regular season with a 60-49 loss to Ironwood Monday night at home.

Ironwood’s Taylor Mylly and Solon Springs’ Anderson led their respecitve teams with 26 points each.
Solon Springs is the No. 10 seed for the WIAA Division 4 playoffs and will play at No. 7 Siren at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20.
