The opening night of racing at Gondik Law Speedway in Superior was postponed because of a “50/50 chance the track peels up and possible ruts,” according to the track’s website.

“We just don’t want to take the chance wrecking drivers equipment on opening night,” the post continued.

The opener has been pushed back to Friday, May 24, when all classes are slated to be in action.

Hot laps begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by racing at 7 p.m. The cost is $14 for adults and $11 for seniors and students.
