Carolyn Jones

Jones’ high average is 201 with a high series of 771 and high game is 300. Jones was the second woman in the Superior Association to bowl a perfect game. In 2004 and 2008, she won all-events actual in the city tournament by bowling series of 1,853 and 1,907 series, respectively.

Jones won the Rose Bowl Tournament in 1999 by setting a new record of 1,251. She broke that record two years later by bowling a 1,257 and then shattered her own record yet again with a winning series of 1,390 in 2003. This record still stands today. She was also a member of 11 Superior Women’s All-Star teams.

Todd Sorenson

Sorenson’s highest average is a 233, high game is 300, and high series is 837.  He has bowled 13 800 series and many 300 games. He won the singles event in the Superior City Tournament in 2004 and 2008, doubles in 2008 and all-events actual in 2004, 2005, 2008 and 2009.

Sorenson has been on the Superior All-Star team 14 times and he was Bowler of the Year in 2008.

Carl Hendrickson

Hendrickson, 85, didn’t start bowling until age 37, but he was quick to excel in this sport. His high average is a 219, high game is 300, and high series is a 855. In the 1994 City Tournament, he won the doubles title with Jim Sonneson. Ten years later, he won the mixed and team events, and in the 2012 City Tournament, he rolled his 855 actual series in singles with games of 300, 276, and 279. This series remains a City Tournament record.

While representing Superior, Hendrickson has two Midwest Senior Classic titles with participants from Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa and Michigan.
