Wisconsin Bowhunters Association has been named as the recipient of the Pope & Young Conservation Award at its biannual convention in Omaha.
The Conservation Award is Pope & Young's most prestigious non-game award "to recognize achievement by a person or organization in the promotion of the future of bowhunting and hunting, the image of bowhunting and hunting and the conservation and wise use of our natural resources."
Wisconsin Bowhunters Association is only the 14th recipient of this award.
"We are deeply honored to receive this award and sincerely appreciate the national recognition of our efforts to promote hunting, bowhunting and conservation," said Mike Brust, president of Wisconsin Bowhunters Association. It wouldn't be possible without the support of the hunting community and our loyal and supportive members."
