The Lake Superior Ice Racing Association held their 2019 season-ending and awards banquet April 6 at Vintage Italian Pizza.

Trophies were awarded for the top 10 finishers, including overall winner Loren LaGesse, who finished the season with four feature wins and 19 heat wins.

The remaining three features were won by Jeremy Lambert, who also had 13 heat wins; Troy Worth, six heat wins; and Scott/Angie Shober, two heat wins.

Mark Androsky and Greg Pluntz were named Sportsmen of the Year; Chad Hammer was the Most Improved Driver; and Chris Penney was the Rookie of the Year.
