The University of Wisconsin-Superior men's soccer team defeated Augsburg 2-1 in the opening round of the NCAA Division III tournament Saturday afternoon in St. Paul.
The Yellowjackets (19-2-1) will now play the host St. Thomas Tommies at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11.
The Tommies (15-3-2) defeated UWS 2-0 in the season-opener for both teams on Aug. 31.
Augsburg took a 1-0 lead when Hsinku Lay scored on a corner kick by Lionel Vang 10:52 into the game.
James Bruce tied it up for UWS with his 16th goal at 24:26. Miguel Ocampo picked up an assist on the goal that started with a free kick.
Aaron Blanchard scored the eventual game-winning goal on a header from inside the box in the 67th minute.
Dalton VonKaenel finished with two saves for UWS, which outshot Augsburg 13-8. Garrett Kaelin had three saves for the Auggies (12-4-4).
The Yellowjackets (19-2-1) enter Sunday's game with a 15-match winning streak and unbeaten streak of 20 games.
