A survey has been sent to parents, staff and community members to gauge support for a $9.7 million building project.
Residents of Douglas County can sign up for Toys for Tots through Dec. 9.
The Douglas County Treatment Court began in 2008 under then-Judge Michael Lucci. Funded through state Treatment and Diversion grants for the past six years, the program can serve as many as a dozen participants at a time.

From the Nov. 27, 1952 Telegram: "While hundreds of turkeys were prepared for the festivities in Superior homes, Ma and Pa Turkey owned by the Slettens were spared the ax. They are being kept to raise a family. Oren Sletten, co-owner of the miniature turkey farm, has made such pets of the birds he said that he wouldn’t kill them to eat if he never tasted turkey again."

There will be two sessions for youth and two for adults. Organizations can also sign up.
This marks the community choir's first holiday concert in three years.
