I'd like to confront the powers that be,

For burdening us with DTV.

It should have gone off without a hitch.

It should have made us all so happy.

Instead all we've got is TV that's crappy.

We're told that our local stations are not in compliance.

But when we complain we're met with sneers of defiance.

I've got the antenna and High Def TV.

I've got the converter box but what good does it do me?

Thank God for good books and the pool at the Y.

Without them -- of boredom I'd die.
