My name is Dan, co-chairman Citizens Fourth of July Parade Committee, and I would like to take this opportunity to say I am sorry for the disruption during our parade.
I didn't hear anything until the parade was almost over about the un-American characteristics displayed when a group of masked people jumped into line and walked with the parade. I can only hope the citizens made their stay short-lived.
I just wanted to let everyone know the parade will always be fun for everyone and never allow something like this to happen if possible. We are just a group of citizens doing something good for our community. Our committee had no knowledge or association with this group of people.
Protesters like them have no place in our parade.
