The 11th annual Paws for Love fundraiser for the Humane Society of Douglas County was held April 22 at the UW-Superior Yellowjacket Union. There was an overwhelming response to the RSVPs, and the event was at capacity seating.
HSDC's most popular fundraiser raised almost $35,000 to provide food, shelter and medical care for stray, abandoned and neglected animals housed at the Superior Animal Shelter.
