It has been nearly a decade since former Gov. Scott Walker and the Wisconsin Legislature enacted the so-called Act 10.

This act cost many public employees their jobs, forcing them to take cuts in their income. This was an anti-union act that was a serious injustice and I feel violated many Wisconsin residents' rights. It was an act aimed at doing away with unions and the collective bargaining process.

It is everyone's right under the Constitution to have a right to choose. This Act 10 needs to be repealed and the right to be a member of a union and the collective bargaining process. All the state representatives who attempt to stop the repeal of Act 10 should be removed from office.

The people of Wisconsin deserve their rights to be in a union restored. State jobs or any line of employment should be able to have the right to be represented by a union.
