Editor's note: The third grade class at Superior's Cathedral School submitted Letters to the Editor in honor of Earth Day. Their parents have given their permission for their letters to be printed.
It is important to recycle because we are helping animals. Also when people litter it puts pollution in the air. Pollution is bad for us because it is dust and it is going in to our lungs.
I love the Earth. It is lovely. We should have at least two Earth Days. Earth Day was started by Sen. Nelson on April 22.
