Editor's note: The third grade class at Superior's Cathedral School submitted Letters to the Editor in honor of Earth Day. Their parents have given their permission for their letters to be printed.

It is important to plant trees to give the Earth oxygen. We need oxygen to breathe and animals, too. Recycle to save the Earth. Recycling helps keep all the cans and plastic from overflowing the Earth.

Earth Day is cool because the Earth is our home. If we don't care for the Earth, it will die. We should take care of the Earth. Earth Day helps the Earth.
