Editor's note: The third grade class at Superior's Cathedral School submitted Letters to the Editor in honor of Earth Day. Their parents have given their permission for their letters to be printed.
It is important to make sure there is no garbage on the ground. I think Earth Day is super fun. It is fun because we recycle. If there was a ton of trash on the playground, it would be fun to clean it up. Earth Day is awesome.
I like Earth Day. Earth Day is a good to to recycle. You get to make crafts out of trash. For example, you take a water bottle and make a bird feeder. Earth Day is fun!
