Have you thought about who you will vote for to represent you in congress?

I proudly support Mary Hoeft for congress. Mary is running to represent Wisconsin's 7th Congressional District, and has what it takes to be a strong representative for the people in this unique area of Wisconsin.

As a former resident of Cumberland and UW-Barron County student in Rice Lake, I watched Mary organize the community through her work on the Rice Lake School Board and as the president of Board of Directors of Barron County Restorative Justice. She was a person who got things done in Rice Lake and Barron County. I know that Mary will bring this same commitment and dedication to office should she be elected to represent the 7th Congressional District.

She is passionate about listening to the people. She knows that we want better jobs and a living wage, and are frustrated about having lost manufacturing jobs because companies have sent jobs overseas. She will fight against the privatization of Social Security because she does not believe that Wall Street should be able to gamble with our retirement.

Her opponent, Sean Duffy, claims to be against the privatization of social security but has voted in favor of it time and time again.

Mary Hoeft is an expert at listening to opposing views and getting the work done, a crucial skill in today's divided politics. This is the type of person that Wisconsin needs. Don't forget to vote Nov. 8.
