During my 32 years as a public employee, I've seen Superior go through good and bad times, but never anything like what we will be facing during the next few years.

I give credit to anyone who is willing, at this time, to take on the job of mayor and face the difficult challenges of an unknown future for the city and its employees. I also, throughout the years, have worked for many mayors and am glad the best of them, Bruce Hagen, is willing to take on the task of running this city once again. He not only brings with him the experience of a three-term mayor, but also the knowledge and skills he acquired while working in Madison. I know, after having spoken with Bruce, that he has a vision for Superior's future and the desire to make that future happen. I'm glad that he decided to call Superior "home" again.

Teddie Meronek,

Superior
