In response to the letter, Pesticide use deserves explanation, published in Friday's Telegram, regarding the Douglas County Board refusal to discuss the the topic about pesticide usage in and around Lucius Woods County Park.
The letter to be discussed was not received by all Douglas County Board members, nor was it on the agenda as required by open meeting laws for the state of Wisconsin.
I am proud to say that Douglas County elected officials and administrators uphold this very important law that was created to ensure transparency in your government on which public policy is derived.
