SUPERIOR — Books make the best gifts.
The Friends of Superior Public Library will hold their annual Merry Little Book Sale Friday, Dec. 2 and Saturday, Dec. 3, at the library. At this sale, you’ll find tons of bestsellers, cookbooks, children’s books and much more all in perfect condition, ready to be wrapped and given to the bibliophiles on your list. Enjoy live music, free gift-wrapping, and refreshments while you’re shopping.
Make sure to stop by the fundraising table during the sale to support the Envision Education and Learning Centre in Teshie, Ghana, a community library that provides access to quality resources and books, and a place for children to do their homework and to explore topics outside of their school curriculum. You can purchase a variety of Ghanaian crafts, including ornaments, bracelets, decorative fans and small baskets, with all proceeds supporting the Envision ELC.
The book sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Dealers are welcome to shop the sale on Saturday.
