As of Jan. 29, Douglas County Forestry managed trails are 99% open! Trails are in good to fair condition and our partner clubs are out actively grooming trails. Please keep an eye out for volunteer groomer operations.
If you have questions about trail conditions please reach out to Douglas County Forestry at 715-378-2219 or email forestry@douglascountywi.org . Trail condition reports are also available on the Douglas County Forestry Facebook page .
Douglas County Forestry reminds citizens that it is critical to respect landowners who allow us to utilize their property for trails. Some trails cross private land, so it is important to stay on the trail where it is marked. Please be sure to check with neighboring counties to ensure trails are open across county lines before you ride. Also: be safe! Don’t ride alone and dress properly for the weather. Let others know where you plan to ride and when you plan to be back.
