Boardwalk column: City offices closed on Veterans Day

There are a few meetings on the calendar for next week.

City of Superior offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day.

All Douglas County ATV/UTV summer trails remain open as of Oct. 26. As the winter progresses, winter trails will open on a trail-by-trail basis, and trail clubs are able to inspect and clean them as they become accessible. Be safe, and have a fun fall ride from Douglas County Forestry!

There are a few meetings on the calendar for next week:

The zoning committee meets on Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 9-11 a.m. in room 201 of the Government Center.

A special county board meeting and public hearing will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 6-8 p.m.in room 201 of the Government Center.

The health and human services board will meet on Thursday, Nov. 11, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in room 201 of the Government Center.
