A list of 2018 delinquent taxes has been published by the county treasurer’s office. This list can be viewed on the Douglas County website under the "News" tab.

The Douglas County Land Services Department has well tests available at a reduced price. The test will include bacteria, nitrates and a complete metals package.

This is a $120 test that will cost well owners only $20. You must be able to pick up a sample kit by Tuesday, Oct. 19, and return the sample on Oct. 25. To be placed on the list, you may fill your information out online at www.douglascountywi.org/welltesting or you may contact Cameron with land services at 715-395-7266.

The Douglas County Board has approved a tentative supervisory district plan. Comments can be submitted to Sue Sandvick, county clerk, at sue.sandvick@douglascountywi.org. The plan can be viewed on the Douglas County website under the "News" tab. It will be presented as the final plan at a public hearing to be held in November.

One meeting is on the calendar for next week: The Douglas County Board will meet on Thursday, Oct. 21 from 6-8 p.m. in room 201 of the Government Center.
