Douglas County Land Services Department has well tests available at a reduced price.
The test will include bacteria, nitrates and a complete metals package. This is a $120 test that will cost well owners only $20. You must be able to pick up a sample kit from Oct. 13-19, and return the sample on Oct. 25. To be placed on the list, you may fill your information out online at www.douglascountywi.org/welltesting or contact Cameron with land services at 715-395-7266.
The Douglas County Board has approved a tentative supervisory district plan. Comments can be submitted to Sue Sandvick, county clerk, at firstname.lastname@example.org. The tentative plan is viewable on the Douglas County website under the News tab. The plan will be presented as the final plan at a public hearing/meeting to be held in November 2021.
One meeting is on the calendar for next week: The zoning committee will meet on Wednesday, Oct. 13, from 9-11 a.m. in room 201 of the Government Center.
