There are several upcoming road closures throughout Douglas County due to culvert replacement: Douglas County FF 0.2 miles east of S. Wallin Road will be closed Wednesday, Sept. 29, in the town of Brule from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Douglas County FF 0.3 miles east of Clevedon Road will be closed Thursday, Sept. 30 in the town of Brule from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Please use alternate routes during these listed dates and times and contact the highway department at 715-374-2575 with any questions.

The Douglas County Board has approved a tentative supervisory district plan. Comments can be submitted to Sue Sandvick, county clerk, at The Tentative Supervisory District Plan is available for view on the Douglas County website under the News tab. The plan will be presented at a public hearing and meeting in November 2021.

The land and development meeting will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 28, from 3-5 p.m. in room 201 of the Government Center.

The library board planning meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Superior Public Library, 1530 Tower Ave..

The public safety committee will meet on Thursday, Sept. 30, from 4-6 p.m. in room 201 of the Government Center.
