Due to ongoing interest in promoting access to the COVID-19 vaccine, the community clinic at Wessman Arena will resume operations Tuesday, July 20.
Starting Tuesday, the clinic will be open Tuesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There will be a household hazardous waste collection for Douglas County residents on Aug. 31 from 2-6 p.m. at the Parkland Town Hall. Anyone with questions should call Warren Johnson of the Northwest Regional Planning Commission at 715-635-2197. A list of acceptable items are available on the Douglas County Facebook page.
The Douglas County Board is on hiatus for the month of July. Other committees may still meet.
There are several meetings on the calendar for the next few weeks:
The forest, parks and recreation meeting will take place on July 26 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in room 201 of the Government Center.
The land and development committee will meet on July 27 from 3-5 p.m. in room 201 of the Government Center.
The board of adjustment will gather on July 28 from 10 a.m. to noon in room 201 of the Government Center.
The public safety committee will meet on July 29th from 4-6 p.m. in room 201 of the Government Center.
