Tuesday night, the Superior City Council made the decision that the 6th District Council seat will be filled by appointing a resident of the district who must apply by submitting both a letter expressing the desire to be appointed along with 20 or more signatures of other fellow residents of the district.

The City Council has set a deadline for this to occur by no later than Wednesday, May 31.

This journey that I embarked on has taken many twists and turns along the way, but I care far too much to waiver from my dedication to representing my neighbors and the thousands of others who call the city of Superior home.

Editor’s note: Elm lost the April 4 election for the 6th District seat by one vote.
