Just a few words about why you need a mayor with character.
Although I do not follow politics closely, I did want to share my experiences in working for Jim Paine. I want everyone to know what kind of leader he truly is. His values and character speak volumes to what Jim is about.
While working with Jim, I quickly came to learn of his passion and knowledge for politics and history. He truly gets excited about the political process.
What I really wanted to talk about is Jim's willingness to stand up for what is right. Being in the healthcare field, we see the worst and hope for the best. When it came to a head many years ago regarding wages and hours, Jim stood up for the nurses that worked for the company. He got them better wages, better hours and more respect within the company. Most to this day have no idea what he did for them.
His willingness to stand up for what's right is what makes him an exceptional leader who really cares about all people.
