Warren M. Peterson

Warren Peterson, 83, died on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at Grace Edgewood Assisted Living in Altoona.

He was born in Superior, Wisconsin to Palmer and Agnes Peterson on March 12, 1937. In March of 1959, Warren married Sandra Lee Brandow. The two of them lived in Gordon until 1992, where they raised their children. They enjoyed living on the Eau Claire River where he could trout fish, canoe, hunt deer, garden, and enjoy nature. He was willing to drive all the way to Duluth where he worked as a meat cutter for twenty years. After retiring, Warren was well known for his ability as a wood crafter. He made various sizes of oak rocking horses, benches, tables and a number of other items which are still a treasured part of many family members’ homes.

Warren is survived by his wife: Sandra Lee Peterson; their children: Blaine Peterson (Susanne), Tracy Stone (David), and his son: Michael Soderlund (Linda); their four grandchildren: Shannon Stone, Casey St.Clair (Dennis), Carley Stone and Dustin Stone.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brothers: Vernon and Donald Peterson.

There will be a celebration of life held at the River Church, Minong, Wisconsin on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 2:00 with a lunch to follow.
