Vicki Ann Korthof

Vicki Ann Korthof, age 64, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 14, 2021 at her residence in Hawthorne, WI. She was born on June 27, 1956 in Superior, WI, the daughter of Robert and Gloria (Verkeyn) Sloan.

Vicki was a natural Northwood’s woman who appreciated the outdoors, especially fishing and living on the lake. She was a hard worker and when younger she managed a hobby farm, tending to her cows, goats and chickens. Vicki also had a green thumb and was quite the gardener. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and spent many years riding with her husband over the road in their semi-truck.

She is survived by her daughter, Cassandra (Matthew) Fuller of Brule, WI; her grandchildren, Phillip, Dominic and Zachary; her great-granddaughter, Pandora; her siblings, Sheila Hofstedt, Denise Hofstedt-Finley, Bobby (Marge) Sloan, Jeff (Jackie) Hofstedt, Shelly Hofstedt, Mike (Dyane) Hofstedt, Daniel (Jennifer) Sloan, Jackie Sloan and Kim Jennings; her step-mother, Darlene Sloan, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Vicki is preceded in death by her sisters, Nancy Hofstedt-Homan and Terresina Shepersky; and her brother, Bruce Hofstedt.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Solon Springs Funeral Home, 9005 E. Biller Loop in Solon Springs, where visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the hour of the service.
