Terry J. Rogers

Terry J. Rogers, 75, lifelong Superior, WI resident, died Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Superior Rehabilitation Center in Superior.

He was born on November 16, 1944 to Stanley and Cecilia (Fitzsimmons) Rogers.

He grew up on a farm in the Pattison Park area, and graduated from Central High School in 1963.

Terry served his country honorably in the Air Force from 1963 to 1967, and participated in the Palomares Recovery of 1966.

He worked in the accounting department for Bannister Pipeline and also for one of the Superior elevators. More recently, he worked in maintenance and janitorial positions for several business establishments in Superior.

He enjoyed stock car racing and working on stock cars.

Terry is survived by one brother, Dick (Bernice) Siddall, Duluth, MN; brothers-in-law, Bill Sahlsteen, of Oklahoma, and Dave Sanda, of Superior, WI; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Marion (Clem) Miller, Cleo Sahlsteen, Donna Loughren, and Cheryl Sanda.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 12, 2020 at the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior, and will continue until the 11:00 AM Funeral Service with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci officiating.
