Ruth A. Fenhouse

Ruth Ann Fenhouse, 69, of Superior died Thursday, July 23rd, 2020 at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, MN.

Ruth was born in Two Rivers, WI on May 12, 1951. The daughter of James and Mary Ellen Boeselager.

Ruth Boeselager and Michael Fenhouse were united in marriage on September 9, 1972 at St. Marks Catholic Church in Two Rivers, WI. They celebrated 48 wonderful years of marriage. She was a member of Holy Assumption Parish in Superior, WI.

After graduating from Two Rivers High School, she attended Fond du Lac Technical College and graduated in 1971 with her degree in nursing. She retired in 2016 from Essentia Health in Superior, WI.

Some of Ruth’s interests were reading, gardening and following the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. Her greatest joy though was spending time and creating memories with her grandchildren Christian, Kennedy and Ethan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Mary Sexton.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Fenhouse, son Joshua Fenhouse (Superior, WI), daughter Cara (Bill) Pond, Mountain Iron, MN and son, Benjamin (Pam) Fenhouse, Neenah, WI, sisters Amy (Don) Buth, Two Rivers, WI, Holly Vallard, Glendive, MT, Jill Schultz, Glenbeulah, WI, brother Pat (Mary) Boeselager, DePere, WI, many nieces and nephews and her two best friends Buddy and Pal, her Golden Retrievers.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Georgia Brunette, Essentia Health Hospice team and the Solvay Hospice House Staff for the wonderful care and support they provided Ruth in her preceding months. A private service will be held at a later date.
