Rose Mary Luostari

Rose Luostari of Poplar, Wi died on June 22, 2021 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born June 7, 1937 to Fred and Vivian Morrisette. She moved with her family from Saint Paul, Mn to Superior, Wi at a young age. She lived her adult life in Cloverland and Poplar, Wi. Rose worked at the Taco Factory in Poplar for over 30 years. Her passion was her family and her house was the hub of activity for family members. She also loved doing 1000 piece puzzles, playing cards with her friends, shopping, and especially loved reading. Her cat Charlie also held a special place in her heart. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Stanley Krawczyk and Marvin Luostari, son Fred Luostari and sister Karen Meierotto. She is survived by her daughter Sherri Hendrickson (Larry), sons Bill Krawczyk and Mike Luostari, daughter in law MaryJo Luostari, grandchildren Erik Alholm, Amanda Mitchell, Ashley Luostari, Kristina Krawczyk, Jennie Luostari, Cassie Luostari, much loved great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. To honor Rose’s wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation services. Her family will hold a private celebration of her life. Her family has made a donation to the Douglas County Humane Society in her name. Cremation Society of Duluth, MN
