Ronald G. Linder

Ronald G. “Ron” Linder, 66, lifelong resident of Superior, died peacefully, Sunday, August 17, 2020 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Superior, December 29, 1953, the son of Bertil K. and Inger (Larson) Linder.
Ron graduated from Superior Senior High School in 1972.
He worked for Andco Window and Door in Superior for many years making vinyl windows.
He attended Central Assembly of God church in Superior with his mother for many years, where he truly enjoyed playing the piano.
Ron was a talented musician and enjoyed playing old hymns. Before his illness, Ron enjoyed playing the piano at various nursing homes in the area.
In his younger years he was an avid bowler and collected a number of trophies. His team once won the city-wide championship, and Ron also achieved official status as a member of the “299 Club”.
He is survived by his brothers, John (Judy) Linder, and Kent (Bonnie) Linder, all of Superior; nephew, Chris Linder, Superior; great-nieces, Madalyn and Emma; and several other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Nicholas Linder; sister, Brigitta Leeper; and brother-in-law, Arlyn “Al” Leeper.
Per Ron’s wishes, private family services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Superior. Pastor Tom Miller of Central Assembly of God church will officiate.
