Patricia A. Franzen

Patricia Ann Franzen, 86, Superior, WI resident, died Sunday, July 18, 2021, in Superior, WI. She was born on March 17, 1935, in Breckenridge, MN to Frank and Elizabeth (Matejka) Bina.

Patricia was a faithful member of Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hiking, gardening, and baking. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Patricia is survived by five sons, Ronald (Neide) Franzen, Tehachapi, CA, James Franzen, St. Paul, MN, David and Steven Franzen, both of Superior, WI and Kenneth (Michelle) Franzen, Plymouth, MN; two daughters, Carol and Judy Franzen, both of Superior, WI; four grandchildren, Michelle, Ashley, Kiara and Wyatt Franzen; and brother, Frank (Margaret) Bina, Jr., St. Paul, MN. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, mother and father-in-law, Charles and Leona Franzen and her parents.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior. Visitation will resume at Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 22, 2021, and continue until the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. Joji Boyapati as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Superior.
