Lorraine C. Robinson

She was born in Chicago, IL on May 19, 1932, the daughter of Lester and Mable Jones. She grew up on Cornucopia, Wisconsin, and graduated from South Shore High School in Port Wing.
Lorraine retired in 1997 after 40 years as a bookkeeper with Arrowhead Equipment Company. She was a very active member of Christ Lutheran Church, serving on many groups and committees. She also had a beautiful Soprano voice and sang in the church choir for many years. Many looked forward to and will remember her singing “O Holy Night” every Christmas Eve. Lorraine belonged to “Labors for Christ” with her husband and together they helped build churches around the Midwest during their retirement years. Lorraine was also instrumental in making the stained glass windows in the current church building with stained glass pieces saved from the old church. Lorraine enjoyed camping for many years and spending time with her long-time family friends, especially their Friday night get-togethers and dinners. Lorraine spent a lot of time helping others. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Laurie (James) Dolsen, South Range, WI; son, Len (Lisa) Robinson, Esko, MN; grandchildren, Paige and Megan Robinson, Justine (John) Greely, Eric (Devon) Dolsen, and Abby Dolsen; great-grandchildren, Valerie and Clayton Greely; and several nieces and nephews; cousins, and cherished extended family.
