Joseph H. Molenda, age 81, of Chicago formerly of Palatine and Superior, WI died on April 30, 2022. Joe was the beloved husband to his high school sweetheart Joanne, nee Johnson, for 61 wonderful years. Loving father to Joey (James Hardy) Molenda, and Christopher J. (Laura) Molenda. Proud grandfather to James, Brooks, Michael, and Elizabeth. Brother to the late James Molenda. Dear uncle, brother-in-law, cousin, father figure and friend to so many. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lorraine Molenda, and step-father Raymond Herubin. Funeral Services were held Friday May 6, 2022 at St. Theresa Parish in Palatine IL. Interment at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 847-359-8020 .
