Ellie was a country girl at heart from Dairyland Wisconsin with the street smarts of an eastsider from Saint Paul, Minnesota. Later to return to her home of Burnett and Douglas County and reconnect to her roots of small-town living. Her high energy and relentless determination formed the cornerstone of her “tell it like it is” personality. You can’t taste the sweet without a little salt. Ellie often referred to herself as a bear. She loved and protected fiercely. Her hugs were hard and long. She had a strength that cannot be described. She was loved by all who knew her. Everyone who knew Ellie has a fantastic story as if from a soap opera. You could not make up her life story even if you tried. We all hold you tightly in our hearts and minds.

Eleanor Jodell service will be held on May 1, 2022, and our family invites you to come and remember our beloved. Service information will be shared with family and friends at a later date.
