Donna May Hoffmockel

Donna May Hoffmockel of Duluth, MN passed away January 10, 2021 at the age of 86. She was born January 25, 1934 in Milbank, South Dakota. She died due to complications from COVID-19.

She was a very strong willed woman who was able to kick her addiction to cigarettes cold turkey while successfully going on a diet. She loved selling Avon products for many years when she lived in Superior WI. In their retirement years she and her husband Murph lived in Mesa, Arizona where they enjoyed the social activities in their park and going to yard sale. In her later years after she moved to Duluth she enjoyed having Pizza parties with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Donna loved collecting teddy bears and dolls dressed in vintage clothing, naming each one after a relative or friend.

She is survived by her children, Pam Mason, Kim Josephson (Maureen), Wendy Mankins (Ron), Len Josephson, Penny Cosner (Steve). She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Murwyn Hoffmockel, and her former husband Richard Josephson.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions and per her request no services will be held at this time. When it is safe to do so a celebration of her life will be held for family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Viewcrest Health Center for their care.
