Mark H. Miller passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 following a lengthy battle with leukemia and lymphoma. He was born on October 1, 1952 in Aurora, Illinois to Carroll and Carol Miller.
He married Sandra Manuel on September 6, 1980. They have one daughter, Heather Gressick, who was his most favoritest daughter.
Mark and Sandra moved to Wisconsin in January 1989 when Mark started his employment with Murphy Oil where he was a process engineer and refinery fire chief. He enjoyed working with the emergency response team and one of his highlights was building fire trucks. He retired in 2015 and was enjoying his retirement.
He loved to hunt and cook and kept his various smokers going all summer so his family and friends could enjoy many delicious foods. Once you were friends with Mark, you were friends for life, and he would happily share good company and good food with you. He loved to spend time with his family. Mark attended Mission Covenant Church in Poplar, WI for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his father and fellow troublemaker, Carroll Miller, DDS. He lives on through his wife, Sandra Miller, daughter Heather (Brett) Gressick, and one granddaughter, Zoey Gressick. His mother, Carol Miller, sister Robin (Jim) Trierweiler, and sister Susan (Tom) Jenkins, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wilford and Ruby Manuel, brothers-in law and sisters-in-law Mark (Kelly) Manuel and Deborah (Jareth) Navarre, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
