Mary L. Meller

Mary L. Meller, 89, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Cedar Ridge Assisted Living, Superior, Wisconsin. She was born July 22, 1931 to Fay and Helen Morton in Cherokee, Iowa.

She worked for many years in housekeeping/ laundry at Middle River Health Care.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband of 68 years John Meller Sr., 5 brothers and their spouses, Fred and Arlene Townsend, Robert and Betty Morton, LeRoy and Wilma Morton, James and Shirley Morton, Norman and Dolly Morton; 2 sisters and their spouses, Donna and Frank Morrow, Velda and Alvin Watkins; daughter Lynn Gregerson and great grandson John Patrick Meller.

She is survived by son John (Cheryl) Meller, daughter Faye (Donald) Lietha, son-in-law Jens Gregerson; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Cedar Ridge Assisted Living &Memory Care and Essentia Health Hospice Home Care for the wonderful loving care you gave to Mary. Each and every one of you became her extended family. Due to COVID a private family grave side service will be held at a later date.
