Mark E. Anderson

Mark E. Anderson, 56, lifelong area resident, died unexpectedly Sunday, October 25, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident while visiting his rock quarry near his home in South Range, WI.
He was born in Superior, WI, July 24, 1964, the son of Edward and Kathleen (Gilbert) Anderson.
He graduated from Northwestern High School and was a self-employed excavating contractor for many years.
Mark was united in marriage to Brenda Johnson, September 1, 1990, and they recently celebrated their thirtieth wedding anniversary before his passing.
Mark was a gifted and talented heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed snowmobiling and cooking. He especially loved digging rocks and moving wood. After sustaining a spinal cord injury in a bicycle accident two years ago, Mark worked hard to recover. He was scheduled to leave for Denver for additional therapy the day of his death. Mark was well known for his kindness, generosity, hard work, sense of humor, and fun-loving spirit. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda; daughters, Kristina (David Teige) Anderson, Lake Nebagamon, WI, and Kaylyn Anderson, South Range, WI; sister, Nancy (Shawn) Brede, Ashland, WI; brothers, John (Moira) Anderson, Glendora, CA, and William (Carolyn) Anderson, Lake Nebagamon, WI; several nieces, nephews, Aunts, relatives and friends; and his grand-dogs, Bella and Winnie.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 11416 1st Street North, Lake Nebagamon, WI, and will continue until the Memorial Service with Pastor Darrell Kyle officiating.
Burial will be in Lake Nebagamon Cemetery.
